I recently finished a Simonton Prism Platinum window replacement job on the East Side of Austin.
Part of this job required reducing the size of an old 10′ slider opening to fit a brand new 6′ wide premium garden-style door (see photo). To do this, my crew reframed the opening, installed drywall, insulation, new trim work and siding.
