I had Austin Pro Siding and Windows complete a job at my place that included replacing all the windows and siding (including painting), and adding gutter to my house. I got five bids for the project and their pricing was competitive and I chose them for the job because of the folks I interacted during the “acquiring a quote” process. The workmanship they did is excellent and I am very happy with how the project turned out. They also have a comfortable schedule on how they rolled out the entire process. The only detriments to the entire job (and I would have deducted a half star for them if I could) was at times there was a lack of communication about when work was going to start and be completed and some of the clean-up from the siding installation was lacking. Overall though, I highly recommend working with Austin Pro. They did an excellent job and I would work with them again, but hopefully I won’t have to anytime soon.

So, a little background to this story. Paul at Austin Pro Siding & Windows was actually the third person my wife and I spoke to about redoing the siding and the windows on our home. First we spoke with one of my acquaintances, a professional contractor. We hadn’t intended to look any farther than that, but when is estimate came in WAY over what we expected, we next checked in with the contractor who had redone the siding on my parents’ house a couple of years ago. They had been pleased with his work, even if it took much, much longer than it should have. That attempt didn’t work out either. Before I even called Paul, I was resigning myself to the idea that renovating the exterior of my home was going to be a lot more expensive than I anticipated.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with Paul’s estimate to replace our windows, siding, and doors. He listened to what we were looking to do, offered suggestions when we needed them, and came back with a number that we were very pleased with.

Now here’s where the story gets interesting. Our home was built in 1984. Evidently, the building codes have changed quite a bit since then… And the builders just plain did some crazy stuff. Most of our window openings were non-standard sizes, and the opening in our son’s bedroom needed to be widened in order to meet the egress code. My wife really had her heart set on double-hung windows, but unfortunately there was just no way to make those work with the wide openings we have for most of our windows. Paul tried every conceivable method to make it work, and explored (and then explained) our every possible option. We found an alternative that we liked, and scheduled our installation.

The installation of both windows and siding went smoothly and quickly. A few minor hiccups arose during the process, but Paul and his team quickly addressed them and worked with us to make sure everything was done right and that we were happy.

We had some additional work done during the siding job, and Paul and his team were able to handle it quickly and at a reasonable price.

With a job this big and involved, it’s not realistic to expect everything to go completely smoothly. What really matters to me is how the business handles the issues that arise. When we had questions or issues, Paul was quick to make sure everything was addressed quickly.

I hope to never have to replace the siding or windows on this house again, but if I do, I’d call Paul at Austin Pro Siding & Windows.

Austin Pro Siding just replaced the siding on our entire house and repainted the whole exterior. It looks better than any house in the neighborhood and our entire experience has been great! The price was better than any other quote, and they were able to get the material in and finish the job ahead of schedule.

Throughout the job Paul checked in to make sure we were okay with the progress and to make sure the details were right. Every single item was perfect before he even brought up final payment — more than I can say about some other contractors…

Details:

We used Austin Pro Siding to reside our small house (about 850sf) 20-25 outside of Austin, between Batrop and Elgin – in other words, off the beaten path. Nonetheless, owner Paul and his crew treated us as if we were a huge job for them.

I called Austin Pro Siding and one other to get estimates. Paul himself came out and offered to come in the evening after work if that was better for us. We were impressed with both companies, but Paul seemed a bit more involved somehow, and his price was about 10% lower than the other guy, even with the other guy giving us a discount for a friends’ referral.

Knowing we’re trying to get work done quickly to get our house on the market, Paul moved us up on his calendar as far as he could. He estimated 7-10 working days to complete. His crews finished the siding, painting, and punch-out in 5 working days.

Paul himself came out at two points to inspect the job, including after punch out. He’s a little OCD about his work, which is something I greatly appreciate in a craftsman! As an example, after he had inspected the final project with us to all of our satisfaction, he sat with my husband and me on our porch for a few minutes chatting (it was the end of the day). He spotted a small water pipe coming out of the wall for hose attachments, with a tiny bit of open space between the edges of the hole in the wall and the pipe. He got up, dug some caulk out of his materials, sealed it, and dabbed off the small smears with a paper towel.

And I have to mention how responsive Paul was. Not only did he keep in touch with progress reports on scheduling, but he responded to emails and phone messages almost immediately, even on weekends, even though none were urgent.

Paul clearly has a great work ethic and high standards, wants his clients to be happy not just with the finished product but throughout the process, and he hires workers who fit that mold.

We cannot say enough about the expert, professional, and friendly service that we received from Paul, Chuck and his team at Austin Pro Siding & Windows.

We received a beautiful front window that completely transformed the curb appeal of our house. The product, Don Young Windows of Texas, is beautiful and sturdy. The ordering process and installation was completely top notch. The entire process was timely and pleasant-who would guess when it comes to any home contracting work! I called Austin Pro today and spoke with Paul. I was hunting down some Simonton Windows and Austin Pro is listed as an authorized dealer-installer on the Simonton website. Paul was quickly able to answer my questions and provided great insight. It is nice to deal with knowledgeable/friendly people.

So, after couple other estimates and how high the price of windows seems like and everyone was pitching their brand of windows. So, I got on yelp and wanted to get the 7th estimate and I found Paul and he was the most reasonable offer and was able to work around our schedule in installing the new Windows. He called us couple times to check on the delivery and walked around to triple check the measurements and his crew was friendly and trustworthy. Foreman was very nice and made sure his crew cleaned up and put back the furniture right. Came in and did an awesome job. 5 stars ratings! Very nice people so if you’re looking for housing windows please give him a call!

Great service and options! We had 10 windows replaced, and they presented us with a number of options to work with our budget. Then they did a great job explaining the work needed and what to expect during the installation process. During installation, they were on time, courteous, clean, and extremely trustworthy. The installer guys were super mindful of our dogs too! There was no clean up for us to do when they were done. They made sure that all the furniture was back in it’s place when they were done. Once they were done, the company even called to follow up to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Nothing but great things to say about Austin Pro Siding and Windows!

Like night and day!

We had 30 year old defective siding that was rotting in places and that rot was getting to the frame. We called several local companies and agreed to use Austin Pro Siding & Windows. They were a little less expensive than others, but the from the initial responsiveness to the no pressure, informative sales approach that night, we were left with a very good feeling for such a massive job.

We went with the lap Hardie and they were able to start work 2-3 weeks before we thought they would be. The crew worked long days and nights, making quick work of the old siding and then wrapping the house. Each day I came home from work, another side or large section was done. Each step of the way there were inspections and communication. We have a large house with a ton of siding and they finished a day faster than we were thinking. The final painting and punch out details were done in a day and the end result is we have a home that looks new, that was beyond our expectation and raise the value of our home. They went the extra mile, beyond what we had discussed, to produce a phenomenal quality result.

I replaced all of the original aluminum windows in my house. Paul was very easy to deal with, and Steve, the installer, was fast and meticulous. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Is it weird to want to hug your siding company and throw them a party at completion?! I cannot say enough about our positive experience with Austin Pro Siding & Windows! We interviewed 4 different siding companies to completely re-vamp our 1960’s home by removing the original cement tile siding and replacing it with Hardie board before painting the entire home (including front brick facade and facia boards, soffits, gutters, etc.). We had Hardie already installed (incorrectly) on an extension and we had our work cut out for us to create a seamless, clean look on our psuedo 2-story cape-cod, psuedo ranch home.

The quotes we got from each company were very comparable in cost, but Kyle, our sales rep with Austin Pro Siding & Windows was so personable, professional, organized and interested in helping us conceptualize some unique add-ons (for the same price) that we chose them. Wow! Were we blown away! Every step of our process with Austin Pro Siding was clear, professional, personable and communicated effectively. We worked directly with Kyle as he organized our project with owner Paul Schantz and his Hardie guru, Kevin. All three of them walked our property with us before, during and after completion to ensure we were on the same page about the process and results. Kyle and Kevin both made great suggestions to help achieve the look we wanted by bulking up our front columns and adding board and batten style siding to our front gable. All three of them communicated directly with us throughout the project.

Their crews (ours led by Mimo) arrived early each day and worked tirelessly. They had a professional demeanor, spoke with us about mid-course questions as needed, tidied up at the end of each work day and did a full sweep/clean at the end of the project. Cameron, our punch list guy, was kind and thorough – helping get all the little details finalized. It’s rare to expect the owner of a local business to come to your home at the completion of a project – especially when it involves driving clear across Austin from their base in Bee Caves to our home in Northeast Austin — but Paul personally signed off at the end of the project, ensured our punch list met our expectations and made sure we didn’t have any other questions before closing out. He personally ensured there weren’t any nails left on the ground and that our property was squeaky clean – even though we never asked or expected him to! Kevin made sure we had his number to call him about Hardie maintenance and/or follow up questions. Overall, the team exceeded our expectations in leaps and bounds. We’re so pleased with the quality of workmanship and the pride and professionalism everyone had throughout.

We would seriously host them all over for a BBQ if we thought they had the time to stop working so hard and enjoy it! We’ve already recommended their services to two neighbors and realtors and hope we can support them to continue to be successful. It’s clear they’ve earned their awesome reputation and we were so glad to work with them!

Paul came out and he is amazing! This guy was so friendly, knowledgeable, easy going and not trying to sell anything! He just gave me recommendations and let me choose! That’s incredible these days!

The cost of the windows were extreme reasonable, included installation, trim, painting the trim etc. the install crew were polite and hard working. Especially since we had a 12 month old baby taking naps they worked on opposite windows of the house.

There was a small issue with one of windows that I would have never have noticed but they pointed it out to me and Paul was immediately on it and making sure the manufacturer would come out and fix it and it was fixed within a week!

I actually got several different bids on getting my house that was long overdue for it, resided. While all my bids were decent I choose Austin Pro Siding and Windows for a few reasons. Paul the owner showed up on time on a day it was pouring rain. He cheerfully measured my home (in the rain) then came inside and sat down with me to talk about what I wanted. While most companies I had gotten bids from had only a few styles and colors of Hardie products Paul offered a variety of different styles and colors. I was shocked when I was told it was all the same price when I had been told different by other companies. I also got bids from Paul to add two picture windows in my home on walls that did not have any windows at all. Austin Pro Siding and Windows was not the cheapest bid I got, but it was not the highest either. Plus we were able to choose a style we loved and the color we wanted.

First Paul’s crew came and installed the windows. Chuck is the name of the carpenter and when I say he is amazing, I mean he is amazing! My neighbor is a building inspector and was very impressed by the work Chuck and his team did. Chuck is very professional and considerate and treats his crew with the same level of professionalism. They worked harmoniously and were very, very tidy. Chuck also installed a new French door at my sister’s place. All my sister kept saying was how nice Chuck is to his crew and what a great job they did on her door.

We also had some mason work done on the outside of the house where one of the new windows was installed. I forgot the mason guy’s name but you can tell he had been in the trade forever as he did a nice artistic design around my window, instead of just putting the brick back.

Now down to the brass and tacks, Kevin, his crew installed the siding. These guys worked from 8am-8pm in 100 degree heat almost nonstop. They got it up and looking like a new house in two days. Afterwards the paint crew came and did the same thing, in two days the paint was done. We got EXACTLY what we wanted, the Custom Colonial Smooth in the Boothbay Blue with Arctic White trim. It looks amazing!!! We LOVE the color!

These guys are Class Acts, they know what they are doing, and they do it well. Paul will never leave you in the dark; you will always know where you are as far as the process. They clean up too; Paul came by himself and ran the magnet over my yard after the siding was complete.

I got three estimates on my windows and siding and I chose Paul because he showed the most interest in my house and he is also the owner! He went over everything with me and he earned my business. The work was done on time and for the exact price of the estimate. His crew did really great work and I couldn’t be happier. The hardi planks are beautiful and I’m blown away by these awesome Windows. So much quieter inside now and way more energy efficient. Chuck, Kevin, and the rest of the crew were careful with my home and kept me on the loop which is really great since I’m picky about how I like things. I’m going to post some photos on Yelp. Look for the Pine Green house with the white Windows and trim. Beautiful!

Getting bids on window replacement can be a real challenge. We decided to replace 15, 31 year old windows and went out to bid.

We originally were just looking to do a “like for like” replacement. Jaco measured and informed us that due to code changes we would not be able to go with double hung in a couple of the rooms. This was actually great news as we decided on casement windows. We spoke with 2 other vendors and contracted with Austin Pro for the job. They were not the least expensive however provided the best total package. We went with the Allside windows which provided a large exposed frame on the outside and we felt the casement mechanism was better than the others we saw.

Paul and Chuck came out to take the exact measurements and explained the lead time on the job.
Chuck’s crew was exceptional, they arrived on time, cleaned up daily (this was a 2 day job due to some construction we had them do) and were a great crew. Chuck inspected every window with us to insure we were satisfied.

We just completed having new Hardie Board Cement Siding installed on the upper floor of our mostly brick house. From start to finish, this was an excellent company to work with. Our salesman Jerry, was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Paul, the owner was never more than a cell phone call away even when he was with his family out of state over the holidays. He called me to see how things were going and answer any questions I had.

Kevin oversaw all aspects of the project even though I didn’t see him until the final day for the punch list and final inspection. The painters got a little carried away with removing vines on the brick to give a clear path to the soffit and facia and this could have been better communicated up front. I would have done a better job of getting ready for them to paint. However, I have to stick with a 5 star rating. There may be cheaper companies out there to deal with, but I’ll bet there are none better!

First, I want to say that I decided to hold off on purchasing windows. (I really only need one, and financially it makes sense to wait until I need to replace all of them.) That said, I was very impressed with the customer service of Austin Pro Siding & Windows. The receptionist, who I spoke to twice, was very nice. And the salesperson Paul was incredibly friendly and down to earth. I didn’t sense the typical salesperson vibes that I do with some salespeople–he was just a normal person. And I especially liked that when I told him that I was going to hold off on purchasing windows, his personality didn’t change. He didn’t get angry or annoyed like some people would have. When I decide in the future to get windows, I’ll definitely be calling this company.

After years of wanting and waiting, we finally made the decision to fix up the old house.

After looking at 3 different companies we decided to go with Austin Pro Siding. I think the thing that put them over the top is Paul was nice enough to bring me a Rudy’s breakfast taco when he came by the first time. I can’t guarantee everyone else will be so lucky though.

Like others have said before Paul was easy to work with and we had great communication throughout the project be it texts, calls or personal visits.

Chuck and his guys showed up first with the new windows. They had our eight 1976 aluminum single-pane windows out and nice new ones installed in about 7 hours.

Next was the siding. Out with the old, deteriorating Masonite fiberboard and in with the new HardiePlank. Kevin and his team had it done in 2 days. The painting was finished up soon
after. The painted the eaves, and all the doors – garage, front, and patio. Everything is finally one color now.

Cameron finished up the job making sure everything was back to normal. He re-attached all our electric and TV cables, outlets, dryer vent, and porch lights. He went the extra mile mortaring and touching up around our old rock chimney.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. It is quieter now in our house. The barking neighborhood dogs are barely audible. We are hoping our electric bill decreases now that our home is more tightly sealed. If you are looking for siding or windows, I would highly recommend Paul and his company.

We just finished having 8 windows replaced by these folks. They did a very professional job from the initial sales call (Thanks, Kyle) to the final installation (Thanks, Steve). We got good advice on the window selection, a competitive price, fast service and a really great installation job. We’re very pleased with the look and performance our new windows and we will no doubt return to this company to replace the rest of the windows next year.

We got 3 bids to replace 8 windows in our 1960s house. Austin Pro Siding had the lowest bid but only by a hundred less from Ringer Windows and $1000 less compared to Titan Windows. The main reason we chose Austin Pro Siding instead of Ringer was I liked the window latch slightly better even though Ringer had better screens and warranty.

We went with the smaller installation team, which was really one guy, and he installed them over 4 days. They turned out nicely and the mess was well contained. It did take 11 weeks to get on the schedule after agreeing to the job so go with someone else if you’re in a rush.

I can say enough good things about Austin Pro Siding, We just had our siding and roof replaced and it wasn’t a simple job. There was a big issue with how a rear porch roof and upper deck had been attached to the house. They not only installed the siding perfectly, they were able to properly flash the porch roof and reattach everything better than new. I have help build at least 5 houses in my life so when I say they are good you know they are good. To the team we worked with; Tracy, Kevin, Steven, Carlos, to the punch-out guy Cameron and all the workers in between THANK YOU! I don’t often give anyone five stars but this company hit the mark all the way. Their price was highly competitive, their people were all top notch, and they communicated with me very effectively throughout the process. We had all our siding, fascia, and trim replaced with Austin Pro and highly recommend them. I felt like we were in good hands from the bid through the finish, and that is very important.

Short story: The team at Austin Pro Siding was professional, responsive, and delivered high quality work in shorter than expected timeframe all at a fair price. Long story: We recently replaced the siding on our East Austin home with James Hardie Cement siding. We had a couple quotes on the project and after talking with Tracy and Kevin at Austin Pro Siding we went with them and boy was that a great decision.

Right away they were immediately responsive in providing a quote. There were some tricky areas of our exterior due to some shoddy/quick remodeling work by the previous owner and Kevin was quick to come in with the right expertise and a plan for getting the project done. They quoted a fair price up front but it was still slightly out of our range. They worked with us to come down to a price that we felt comfortable with and the whole process was quick and painless. There were some hiccups during the project but I have to say that I couldn’t be happier with the way that their team handled it. We can not say enough about this company and their employees – they are absolutely the BEST. From top to bottom, they are professional, friendly and efficient. From beginning to end this was a great experience and if you are thinking about getting new windows or siding for your home, this is the company to contact. While the siding was being installed on our home, we had one of our two day, hard spring rains come through. The workers had removed our old siding and had secured our home with the OSB board and cover before the rain started. When the rain and wind had finished and we inspected the outside of our home, we found they had secured everything so well, we did not have any problems. Additionally, we were impressed with how the work crews cleaned up each afternoon before leaving for the day. Great company, honest, good people that deliver a great product for a reasonable price.

These guys are the real deal. They are professional, courteous, and they know their business. I would not hesitate at all to use them. I have an old 1950s house with weird shaped windows. Paul and his crew were solid from the beginning. Never pushy as a salesman and very easy to get ahold of. The work was quick and efficient and problem-free.

A few months after the install, my yardman broke a big, expensive window. Paul reminded me I was still under warranty and helped me get it replaced through Simonton, the manufacturer. Nice guy, solid work. I can’t recommend them enough.

I hired this company after meeting with Kyle, their sales consultant. Kyle was friendly but not pushy, and brought samples of materials. The cost was reasonable. I had our entire house done with James Hardie siding and all new windows. Kyle utilized a Texas window company, and I do prefer supporting local businesses. The window and siding process was completed quickly and efficiently. We saw the siding guys working and they seemed happy with their job. Kevin and Paul, two of the owners, were very knowledgeable and quick to respond. We did have a bit of a delay in getting the project started, Kevin kept me updated and we were not in any rush anyway. Once the project started, I was amazed at how quickly they could complete an entire two-story home within a few days. Overall the entire project took about 2 weeks (windows, siding, painting, etc.) We basically have a new House! One of the windows broke after it was installed, and Paul came out and replaced it with no hassle. Paul has the type of personality that earns your trust easily. Am considering using them to install gutters next.

Initially contacted Kyle which is why this difficult siding job on an old house started on the right foot, he laid out a very precise drawing and proposal for windows, siding and paint. All phases of this project were accomplished with expediency and professionalism. We were impressed most with the 3-man siding crew, Momo the artist siding crew chief his helper the saw man and his laborer were very meticulous to detail and preformed suggested changes without a problem and no extra charge. The paint crew came back for door repaint with no issue as well. Also met with Kevin the company siding lead, Chuck the window lead as well as the owner Paul. Their office staff is very helpful as well. With all the proposals flung out way as well as the characters that came and went with them it became more than apparent this company stands WELL above the fray. We wish them the best in future endeavors, please contact them you wont be disappointed.

Loved Austin Pro Siding & Windows, would strongly recommend them. They had the best value and best turn-key customer service. Consultation took 30 minutes and was very informative. We spoke to three vendors and they offered the best value. Took them 1 day to run through 9 windows installed in a home built in the late 1970’s. Loved the on-site installation experience! Chuck kept us very informed on what was happening through the day. The crew finished the job in 1 day even though he originally expected to be out for 2 days despite of downpours the evening earlier. The installation was beautiful and clean. My wife and I both agree one of the best contracting experiences we’ve had. Bottom line – you will not be disappointed with this company if you decide to give them your business.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience with Austin Pro Siding and Windows. Staff was all very nice, timely, put together. The response times are fast and efficient, support staff was great. They came in below the other two bids we received back, which is surprising for such a great service and high level of professionalism. Paperwork is electronic, completed on the iPad with Jaco, no printing and signing and emailing back, etc. A small thing that was very much appreciated. We had a tight deadline and a custom ordered window, and they were realistic and accommodating with us. Everyone on the team was great, especially the lead man Chuck. They were able to get the installation done in one day, with no mess, as promised. We love our new windows and are grateful Austin Pro Sliding and Windows helped us to make such a great investment! The only complaint (that doesn’t take away from the 5-star review) I have is that once the team was doing the paint touch ups, it was pretty clearly the wrong paint. We take full responsibility for this as it is the homeowners job to provide the right paint, but we do wish someone had said something if they noticed while painting.

We had really old windows in our home; original windows 1977. Called three companies and this company responded in a very timely manor, very courteous, and could install DON YOUNG ALUMINUM Windows like we wanted. The bid was very reasonable so we used them and the new Windows have reduced noise and dust and look Wonderful! Chuck and his team made a tough job bearable and fixed ALL of our check list at the end of the job.

Paul and crew rock it! Had 17 year old house resided, and 4 windows installed. Kevin was an awesome install manager, and team “Santiago” did an amazing job on a house that is hard to side. The window guy, “Steve” is the “window ninja”…Steve is a true professional who knows how to get it done. Punchlist was minimal and the finishing touches were handled well. Had one minor warranty claim on a window (wasn’t APS fault), and they sent Chris to handle. Another absolute pro. I can see why they are called Austin “PRO” siding. Paul, and team, thanks for a great experience.

I had a great experience with Austin Pro Siding from start to finish. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with! They replaced my rotten old siding, installed three new windows and painted everything, including the garage door. I have never been a fan of pink brick and never even thought of painting it until Kyle the project consultant suggested it. What a difference! Steve the window installer was so nice and worked with my time schedule. Paul always kept me informed and was always available to answer my questions. I had a problem with an area of my brick and Kevin came up with a beautiful solution. Ryan was also very nice and installed all my new lights and all the finishing touches. The installers and painters did a wonderful job. I will definitely call them when I am ready to replace the rest of my windows. I’m not a big writer, so I usually do not write reviews, but this time I felt it was well worth my time. I love my beautiful new home!

Fabulous job from start to finish. 40 windows installed, quite a process with the end product being totally worth it. From Jaco’s professional insight into the best products for our home and budget, to the installation crew of 6 or 7 young men who never stopped moving, we’ve been delighted. Paul stopped by before, during and after the job was complete to ensure our satisfaction.

We had been thinking about getting all new windows in our house for years and when we finally wanted to do it, I did my due diligence. I read Yelp and saw that Austin Pro Siding had an almost flawless 5 star rating – I almost didn’t believe the reviews! But these people are the absolute best. From the very beginning with Jacques, who did our quote – he was professional, not “salesy”, was up front about everything (no long pitch!), and gave us great options. We had gotten quotes from both Sears and Home Depot as well as one other smaller company (we did NOT like them) and when Jacques came, it was absolutely clear this was the company we wanted. Local, small and — they CARE about the job they do. When we made the final decision, Paul came to our house along with Jacques and Steven (who would be our installer), and again, professional, no nonsense, honest and excited to be doing what they do. When it came time to install, even though they had explained how everything would work, I thought maybe there would be a snag, but no. Steven (and Kenny) were meticulous – they made sure everything was done perfectly–you can tell they love their work. They kept the area clean, they were courteous and professional and explained everything along the way. We could not be happier with our windows, it’s absolutely changed the look and feel in our home. If you’re thinking about any type of job with this company, DO IT. They’re amazing.

Austin Pro Siding & Windows just installed 21 windows of various sizes for us. Excellent operation from Salesman Jaco, Owner Paul, and Installation crew manager Chuck. Bottomline: Excellent! Oh, we did the parade of highly rated contractors and a few name brands. Some were cheaper and some higher in price but, I was more impressed with the low pressure approach and value offered by Austin Pro.

This experienced installation crew cleaned up as they worked! They showed up on time! Also, they did much more than the minimum. Bottomline: Great value, service and price. We are already recommending them to our friends.

We have been wanting to replace the siding on our home for several years so this was a big deal to my wife and I. My day job is commercial concrete construction, and my wife will tell you I am a little “type-a” about my stuff. We got pricing from 3 top rated contractors for Hardie siding in Austin. The list came straight from the Hardie website and through reviews/ratings on miscellaneous platforms. Paul worked around my schedule to come by and prepare a quote. The pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes we got. He explained how they operate with the different phases and told us what to expect throughout the construction. He was not pushy at all which was a major plus. Once started, the crew kept the work areas very clean and were careful with our plants/grass. Paul, Kevin and Ryan were in contact regularly and I could let them know of any issues I had. Any issues I had were quickly addressed. All-in-all these guys are a class act and I was very impressed with the final product. My photos tell the story so check them out.

Met the folks from Austin Pro Siding at a recent Home & Garden show while I was looking for someone to replace siding and windows at my home. I found Eric and Jaco to be very friendly and non aggressive in the information they provided me so I booked an appointment for an estimate. Meeting with them on a later date, both were awesome and did not try to over sale me with any work I did not need. I compared their estimate with some of the other popular companies and found it not only to be lower but they also provided me with more services then the others. Based on their

estimate, reviews and just an overall feeling that they were an honest company, I contracted the work with Austin Pro Siding. Let me just say that Paul (the owner) and his crew were awesome. If you are the type of person that worries about dealing with contractors, those worries are over! Crews arrived to work every morning and worked till sundown. Got 13 windows replaced, front door replaced and double French doors installed at the patio all in the same day! I can’t say enough good things about the crew who did the siding work. I visited the work site several times everyday and always found them busy at work. They did awesome work and even offered me a few tips to make my project even better. A great company to work with. We received many quotes and did research before having our siding and windows replaced, and are so happy we chose Austin Pro Siding & Windows. They exude professionalism with warm Texas friendliness. And speed, which is so important when you want these big projects to not drag on forever! Our siding was completed so quickly that the neighbors many doors down the street from us noticed and came by to get the company name. Even with the speed, their attention to detail was fantastic, with everything coming together with quality, finished with perfect paint application. The window installation was equally quick and I’ve noticed a big difference in sound reduction, not to mention they’re beautiful and easy to open and close. Paul and Jerry were available to answer my plethora of questions patiently, guide me against making bad decisions, and keep to the timeline I wanted. I’d say I’d use them again, but they did such a good job I don’t anticipate having additional needs for a loooong time!

Austin Pro just finished work on my house today and I couldn’t be more pleased. From the beautiful picture window (and others) Steve installed with precision and care, to the siding work done on my house with expertise and skill, and, finally, the painting of the siding and my brick, I can’t even put into words how happy I am. Working with a tight budget, it is amazing what was accomplished. I feel like I have a whole new house. Steve, the window installer, is so professional and an all-around nice person. He worked so cleanly I could not believe I did not find any dust or debris when he left. The young siding installers worked fast and did amazing work. When my AC went out due to (we think) moving around some wiring while siding, they stayed late until we got the problem solved. Their supervisor had already left. The painters could not have been more accommodating to help me achieve my “vision” of what the house should look like. I especially am proud of my beautiful purple door and am already getting complements on it! (Steve, the window guy installed it

for me.) Paul, the owner, was a constant presence whether on the phone or coming by to check on progress. He even made suggestions I had not even considered that made the house look even better. Lastly, Cameron, the punch-out guy, put up my new shutters, among other things. That was the icing on the cake. If you choose Austin Pro, you will not be disappointed. I don’t have enough great things to say about Paul and Austin Pro Siding! We were looking to get siding replaced with hardie board and found Austin Pro Siding on Yelp. Paul was extremely responsive to my initial inquiry, came out to take a look at the house in person and gave us a very thorough assessment and estimate. We had to get our front door replaced first, which ended up delaying the siding project but Paul was so understanding and I never felt that he was resentful about our delay. He maintained excellent communication with us and his team was wonderful.

We had most of the siding of our house replaced and the rest repainted. I worked with Paul the owner. He was knowledgeable and gave me options on how much siding I could replace depending on my budget. There were also windows that I planned to replace. I feel Paul gave me good advice instead of just trying to get more business and I really appreciated that honesty. Paul guided me through material selection. The whole process was explained to me in detail. The crew was professional. The job started and completed according to schedule. The result was just what we

wanted. Follow-up was also great after the work was done. I worked with Paul to replace all the windows in my house at the beginning of 2016. This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Not only is Paul thorough and knowledgable, he is courteous not only to customers but also his team. The crew arrived at my house (as scheduled) around 9AM the day of installation. They fully completed the removal and installation process (including trim) by 3PM. The team was efficient, professional, and helpful. I originally dreaded going through this process, but Paul and his team really made it seamless. I was referred to them by a friend and am thankful I didn’t have to waste time vetting vendors. If I ever need siding or other services Austin Pro offers – I will call them first!

Paul and his crew did an amazing job start to finish on my siding project. I’m not sure if all customers are as indecisive in their color choices as I was but I hope for the company’s sake they aren’t. Regardless, Paul was patient and extremely helpful with suggestions on siding styles and paint colors. The work was done perfectly – the crew was professional, at work from early in the morning to nightfall, and cleaned up every night like it was the end of the job and not just the end of another workday. As for price, I had three siding quotes and Austin Pro Siding was by far the best, both in price and in amount of work included. The other quotes excluded items like porch ceiling painting – not something you think about when looking at a quote on paper but something that jumps out at you when the project is finished and your beautiful new siding clashes with an unpainted deck circa 1982. Not so with Austin Pro. When they were done with the house, it was complete, with none of the random things left undone that would mar your enjoyment of your suddenly much nicer exterior.

He came by probably more than he needed to just to check on the quality of work his teams were doing. His teams did great work and were very professional. They paid a lot of attention to detail. We hired Paul for new windows, siding, and even had him paint our house. I highly recommend him.

Our house was broken into in the morning, and Austin Pro was one of the first calls we made. Since the burglars only broke glass, they referred us to a few numbers for just glass repair. Paul and his team were tremendous. The work was top notch, handled professionally and most importantly, on time. I had siding removed and replaced and the painted. These guys really know their stuff! They were very thorough, willing to answer any and all questions we had and a good client experience was clearly a top priority for them. We have a very old two story and one entire side, including chimney, was in dire need of new siding. They had 17 other jobs going on but worked their magic to squeeze us in before it rained again since the existing siding left us very exposed to leaking and internal water damage. In one single day they delivered the materials, took down a portion of our fence for access, put up scaffolding, tore off the old siding, put on Hardi-wrap, rebuilt a portion of the chimney that had rotted, put up all new siding and trim and put the fence back in place. When they were done cleaning up, it was cleaner than before they had even started! They came back the next week to paint it all to match the rest of the house and it looks great! They did such a professional, quality job and provided excellent customer service that we will not hesitate to call them again any time we need any of the services they provide. I still can’t believe how well everything went, from start to finish. Very impressive 🙂

I had them completely redo the siding on the backside of my house, which included a very tall/high chimney. They also touched up other trim work around the house and painted everything to match my existing trim. They really did a great job. The workmanship was great, the follow-up and customer service was superior. i will definitely use them again They really are the best company I’ve dealt with in years!
