The lead came in through James Hardie on May 31, 2024, connecting the homeowner with Austin Pro for the new construction exterior. The early conversation focused on picking a siding that could stand up to Driftwood's heat and weather. By June 3, 2024, the project moved into our prospect stage.
We reviewed the new build's framing and confirmed no existing siding needed removal, which simplified the scope. The crew set the plan around 8.25" Primed Smooth board at a 7" reveal. We also mapped out paint coverage for the siding, fascia, and soffit at the same time.
