Installation

What did we find when we tore off the old roof?

Once the crew stripped the shingles down to the decking, the story got clearer. Parts of the deck needed replacing, so we installed fresh 7/16" x 4' x 8' OSB where the old wood had failed. We also found modified bitumen on a low-slope section that had to be removed and rebuilt. That kind of hidden damage is exactly what a homeowner misses from the ground. Skipping a deck inspection is the most common mistake we see, and it's why a proper tear-off matters more than a quick overlay.
