Why did this West Creek home need new siding?

What did the crew find on site?

Once we started pulling trim, the usual Round Rock story showed up. Fascia and soffit had taken years of weather, and the overhang framing needed attention before new material could go up. That is a spot homeowners often underestimate.

We framed in new overhangs and boxed out the window openings so every line stayed straight. Skipping that step is the most common mistake we see on siding jobs. If the substrate and framing are off, no siding profile looks right, and water finds its way in. Getting the bones true first is what makes the finished wall last.
